I want to tell you that this is a great mirror and in fact it was a really good mirror before it expired exactly 1 month after the 'Manufacturer's Limited Warranty ' stopped working. . expired. I would not recommend anyone to spend around 100 euros on a vanity mirror if it only works for 4 months. I bought this to replace a lighted Revlon mirror I've had for 20 years which is still working and currently being used again whilst STILL a week ago awaiting a response from Zadro customer service regarding the faulty mirror. I have never dropped this mirror or used it in any way. I chose an AC plug as it was used in my makeup and personal care vanity. One night I was putting makeup on and just flipped it from the normal side to the enlarged side and I heard a "click" sound and the lights went out. Tried unplugging and plugging in the power cord, tried using it with batteries, even changed batteries but nothing helped. Now I have a very expensive non-working mirror and apparently Zadro doesn't believe in timely responses to his customers. If they decide to reply to my email I will update this review but at the moment I am not in a position to recommend this mirror to anyone. Lighted makeup mirror should last more than 4 months. Update March 18, 2017: Zadro has replaced this product even after the warranty period stated in the original instructions/documents has expired. Got the replacement on time. I love the magnification this mirror offers, especially when I'm tweeting my brows. And the light output is pretty good, I'm changing my rating from 1 star to 3 stars as I was impressed that the company honored my warranty claim and replaced my mirror. As my original purchase broke due to normal use I have been and still am very careful how I use this mirror. I no longer rotate a round lighted mirror from side to side as was designed and intended. used simply because I think it's not a perfect design. How can you expect a device that is constantly tipping over not to damage the internal wiring? So I just flip the whole stand over, so yeah if I use the extended side the cable is facing me. I do not use this with batteries as even fresh batteries do not provide enough power to light up this mirror at full power. There is a noticeable difference in brightness when using a battery instead of a cable. And the second reason I don't give it a higher rating is that the cable connector dangles inside the case and the light output can drop a bit with the slightest movement. The overall look of this mirror is great, if Zadro continues to produce this particular model there are a few issues that need to be addressed. I like this mirror, but it's far from perfect in terms of internal mechanics. I'd love to be able to rotate this mirror the way it's intended to be used, but I don't have a wish for it to break like it used to. So I handle it with great care so that the same original problem doesn't happen again. Covered or not, it's annoying to have to return this item under warranty.
