The key to success is to use a variable speed drill otherwise you won't be able to control it and you'll be sanding the hood. You should be able to use a very low speed for the first 2 grinding wheels. People seem to complain about it scratching or scratching your headlights, but if you get it right, it works great. Each side takes about 15 minutes. I don't know how long this will take, but hopefully some time. I suppose you can take the 4 headlights out of the grinding wheels and use the 1500 grit wheel and buffing ball over and over for touch ups.
