This works great if you do it right.

The key to success is to use a variable speed drill otherwise you won't be able to control it and you'll be sanding the hood. You should be able to use a very low speed for the first 2 grinding wheels. People seem to complain about it scratching or scratching your headlights, but if you get it right, it works great. Each side takes about 15 minutes. I don't know how long this will take, but hopefully some time. I suppose you can take the 4 headlights out of the grinding wheels and use the 1500…

Nu-lens Mother Lenses for Headlight Restoration Kits

Update: I have tried the polishing paste in this kit twice and it does not work as advertised, does not remove haze or scratches from the grinding process. I tried Mothers Nulens once with no success. The sanding pads don't seem to work very well and the buffing compound and pad/ball are not very effective at removing sanding marks. The instructions were followed to the smallest detail. I've converted other brands of headlights with great success, so I know what I'm doing. I will try again…

Wow I have to say this has worked wonders for my '05 Toyota Camry. Helpful Hints First tape everything with 800 grit masking tape. Wet the headlight with a spray bottle or bucket and wipe it down frequently (wet the headlight first before sanding and then when you sand you'll see that loosening the dirt and brown dirt, I scanned the whole headlight 3 times This grit is hard to control at full speed, slow down if necessary and keep it looking smooth) 1500 grit - dampen the sand with a sprayer or

Worth the money at Headlight Parts & Accessories

I'm trying to sell my car so it looks less worn. The headlights got pretty dim and cloudy. I saw other people's before and after photos and videos and thought it was worth $15. Took me about 20 minutes per light and once you start sanding the lenses with 800 grit sandpaper really hope it works as advertised because you are literally sanding your headlights. But things look better after a 1500 grit wheel, pretty good after a 3000 grit wheel, and after a buff it all comes together. I was…

After 10 months on the road 24/7 needs retouching.

I made my first app 11 months ago and had to tweak it a bit on a car parked on 24/365 street. Headlights have not touched 11 months. (sorry no pics, didn't think of that until the really yellowed one was taken) The driver's headlight is pointing more directly south and it's clear it's yellowed again, but not as badly as before. I taped off the driver's side, wet it and used the 1500 for a while until the water turned white after sanding occasionally. Then foam pad / 3000 to spray evenly, then…

I've sanded two cars with this kit and could easily do a few more

A little wet sanding experience helps, just make sure you read all the instructions, both on the box and in the kit. . I've made two cars with this set and could easily make a few more. I started with 800, sanded for a long time, the same from 1500, then to foam rubber 3000 (that should be sanded dry), then to the foam nozzle. easy, looks like new. Don't make the mistake of just using the mop head and skipping the sanding, if you want perfection, do it right. I also took the grinding wheel out…

Critical feedback from someone who has used this and other kits.

Includes: (1) Nozzle drill for bottom nozzle. (2) 800 grit abrasive pad (2) 1500 grit abrasive discs (1) 3000 grit "buffing pad" (1) Powerball buffing pad. (1) 8 ounce bottle of polish. Pros: With this kit, all the hard work has to be done with a power drill. No hand sanding or hand polishing. Drill, polishing pad and power ball are well made. Cons: Sandpaper attachments appear to be "disposable only". Trying to keep them moist and clean is a mission in itself. I understand why people have so…

Skeptical. Then he got scared. Then they gave me hope. Then satisfied.

Received this for Christmas and only now 6 months later have I had the courage to try it. My headlights were worse than the "before" headlights on the box. My lenses were completely dark yellow and the light mechanism behind the lens was not visible at all. They were also heavily gutted. I should have taken a picture beforehand but honestly I didn't think this product would work. Spread photo"to". See the explanation as I'm really not done yet. I have previously tried following the instructions
