I first started with a Fabric Wristrest, very comfy but over the course of 4 months to the left side of my wristrest started to accumulate sweat and started to smell a little foul. And it also started to show some slight discolouration. Overall wasn't a fan of the fabric one after some time.Next I went with a Leather Wristrest it was great. It didn't soak up sweat as much as the fabric one did, so smell wasn't as much of a problem. How ever during summer days my wrist would stick to the leather after a while it would sometime move the rest around after moving my arm off the desk. Despite that small inconvenience I would've 100% kept it as my part of the setup but it was built for a Full 108 Keyboard and I only have a TKL Keyboard so the size was off and bugged me aesthetically. So that needed to go as well.Flash forward I decided to try a new type of material. I spent about 20 mins searching for the best deals and different types of rests, I came across this Wooden one.and it was from the same company I bought the first fabric one from a while back. Now at first I thought to myself wood doesn't sound all that comfy for a Wristrest, but curiosity got the better of me and I took the plunge. It came well packaged and the smell of the wood was a nice little extra (some might not like it but I sure did) touch to the unboxing process along with a neat little company sticker too. As for ergonomics it is surprisingly comfy. I was very skeptical after taking it out of the box seeing as it was pretty much solid wood with rubber feet and a carefully thought out contour on the surface. It took a little bit to get used to the feel of the rest since the material is more dense and heavier. The thick and carefully applied layer of wooden stain gives the wood a nice smooth and sleek black finish that over time becomes more and more smooth is awesome. And after a long day of office work / gaming / hanging out / web browsing etc. any sweat or gunk can get wiped off with almost zero effort. So it eliminates alot of the problems that I had with my previous wrist rests but also provide a bit more support and even looks more stylish for my taste. So if you're in the market for a new Wristrest and keep going back and forth on this particular one I highly recommend it, but be warned it will in fact take about 2-6 day to break it in, so the switch to this wrist rest will be hard at first.(◠﹏◠✿)
