If I change the filters well on schedule, these filters keep me from waking up in the early hours with shortness of breath. Our air filter uses 2 of them at the same time and the air in the bedroom is taken care of very well. They collect dust, dander, pollen and spores from the air. I am very happy with it. The quality of Holmes has been constant for years. As the saying goes, "Don't fix what ain't broke." Well Holmes has never let me down and I'm glad to stay with them. There's just no reason for me to even experiment with any other brand. The price, performance and consistency are excellent and I would recommend Holmes to anyone with allergies.
