Review on ๐Ÿพ Mighty Paw Smart Bell 2.0 - Enhanced Dog Potty Communication Doorbell with Super-Light Press Button by Anne Wilson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Small dogs may find it difficult to activate.

My dog has learned to ring on command after about 5 days of working with him. Shortly thereafter, I was able to get him to call before I took him outside every time. Took him about 3 months but now he's calling to let us know he has to go! This is just a 7 month old puppy so YMMV with animals of different ages. My main complaint is the amount of force required to activate the bell. He would have found out sooner if it had taken less power. However, he often hits it without triggering and it takes 2-3 tries before it rings. He still seems confused by having to keep trying to push him until he makes a ringing noise. My dog is about 25 pounds so while not a big dog, he's not a bit small. This amount of energy is required because they have opted for a button without a battery, which uses the energy generated when the button is pressed to generate the electricity needed to activate the ringer. I would prefer it to be lightly touched and the batteries replaced every 6 months. Overall I am satisfied with the product and will continue to use it. However, if they came out with a battery operated transmitter that worked with a light touch, the product would get 5 stars!
