Too bad we didn't buy this product sooner!

We were looking for an easy way to break our two dogs' habit of jumping up and scratching at the door when they need to get out. This product is very convenient! Too bad we didn't buy them as puppies. The device itself is very well made, the doorbell sound is loud enough and it's nice to have two doorbells in case you have dogs of different sizes. We use peanut butter to teach the dog to push the button on the door, and then other treats to reward him when he goes potty. So far it's working…

Great invention! on Dogs

Squeezing effort was a bit more than I expected. My pit bull pup had a hard time squeezing it so hard it rang. However, after a few weeks, she realized that she needed to exert more force, and now she can do it normally. The only thing I would have liked would have been 2 plug-in noise cancellers. We have a 2 storey house and a pot on the ground floor. Since we want her to hear it when she presses it, we plugged it in at the bottom, but it's very hard to hear at the top! If there were 2 remote…

Small dogs may find it difficult to activate.

My dog has learned to ring on command after about 5 days of working with him. Shortly thereafter, I was able to get him to call before I took him outside every time. Took him about 3 months but now he's calling to let us know he has to go! This is just a 7 month old puppy so YMMV with animals of different ages. My main complaint is the amount of force required to activate the bell. He would have found out sooner if it had taken less power. However, he often hits it without triggering and it…

Fun for the dog and quiet for the human

Our dog Zoe quickly learned to ring the Mighty Paw bell and we hear her best around the house. We used to use sleigh bells. but she never liked the sound from the start. One day she caught her fingernail on a bell and panicked. I tried desperately to free myself, the bells tinkling wildly. The game was over. After that she hardly came to the door where we hung her. I tried putting the bells in my sock, which helped a little, but they only rang occasionally, and when they did, it was so quiet we

Catching takes time!

I think the idea is really cool, but my Pomeranian puppy and I have been training with it for a long time. It seems simple, but when the button is pressed, you should either press it (assuming your dog SEES you press it), your dog pushes it (assuming your dog is a genius), or your dog pushes with a treat, if your dog accidentally pushes it, there's a good chance your dog won't even realize where the noise is coming from. Like I said reading the reviews and directions and writing this review, it

Great concept, but may need tweaking

This is a great concept with 32 different sounds. A very light touch is enough to trigger the sound, which is good if you have a small dog that uses its nose to activate the pad. If you have dog training experience, it's fairly easy to train your dog to use it. The only thing that worries me a lot is that a large dog using its paw will likely knock it off the wall all the time and/or break it relatively easily. While the plug-in (which makes sound) is fine, the trigger pad would be better if it

I can not believe it! 🐶 🔔

Okay, I admit I was skeptical. Got this for my miniature dachshund puppy who was a little difficult to train. I first bought hanging bells and knew it wouldn't work. She is too short. Decided to give it a try. Put the knob on the floor next to my sliding door and get to work with the included treats and workout tips, as well as from other reviewers. Nothing. She looked at me calmly with her wide, confused eyes with a blank expression, and then turned her head as if I were invisible. weeks of…

The doorbell works as expected and is durable!

Original review: 8.10.2018 We are moving soon and have a beautiful new house with new doors and paint. Our old house has scratches on all the door frames and doors from our 4 very large dogs and 1 small dog scratching in and out. So I was looking for a way for dogs to notify me when they want to go through the door without having to scratch it. The Mighty Paw Smart Bell 2.0 appealed to me because the activators don't need to be plugged into anything and no batteries are required at all. At…
