These pegs were a few inches longer than the similar pegs that came with the beach tent I bought. Overall they worked well, and the extra inches made it possible to dig a little more into the firmer sand beneath the loose sand top. They took a little time to screw in but held up well due to the extra depth. think it's a bit expensive for what they are and almost the same as a tent. I think they will last a long time if only used on beach sand. I don't think they can handle packed dirt as they flex fairly easily even when pushed and twisted in the sand.
