I bought this to move my 15 year old kennel to a new home 140 miles away. I used to always make short moves and just put her in a box and prayed she didn't have a heart attack during the 2 mile ride. I wasn't sure if she would survive the 140 mile move. When I received the duffel bag, I put it in to practice. It's big and strong, and she felt at home on it. She was fine, sitting there for an hour or two every day. When it was time to drive I put her in and she was very calm as I put her in the back seat of the car. Halfway to our new home, my car hit my back and I stopped at a red light. I looked at my bird first, with the carrier still in the back seat, while Fiona looked at me calmly through the window. She was fine! After the emergency stop, we continued on our way until we reached our new home. I gave her a regular cage and put her in and she settled in like nothing happened. Not only was she transported safely and calmly, she survived a car accident in a carrier and ended up having far less stress than my dog or cat. was when they came into the new house. She really likes her new home and I'm glad she survived the trip. I wish I had had this stretcher many years ago!
