I only bought this because my x570 motherboard was not able to charge my Quest 2. Well my kit didn't have it so I traded it in, the replacement didn't have it either. I'm using an Oculus Link cable and the USB test shows around 1.8 Gbps. However, the other USB port only receives about 300Mbps. Installation was easy. This will fit in any PCIE 4 slot or larger (I put it in a PCIe 16 slot). I went to the Startech website to search for drivers and for some reason the product number doesn't show up in the driver search. I had to go through the product page, find the product PEXUSB312C3 and find the drivers listed below. Windows indicated the controller was working properly, but Oculus wasn't communicating. I updated the HCI driver using the downloaded software from Startech. Oculus posted right away and I had no issues after that except one port was slow. My only regret is that I bought this product because of the good reviews. Then I get a port that barely works despite driver updates and I had to buy another item that was supposed to be included.
