I'm not really a fan of hats, I wear a hat or a baseball cap from time to time, but I've never bothered to try on a dressier hat because I felt none of them suited me suits my character. When this hat arrived it was in a large box so everything was laid out and not broken. It has a strap to keep the hat in place but it would look fun for the occasion when I put the hat on (lunch and tea at the teahouse). Some reviews said the hat was "heavy" with a bow in the front, but I just want to wear it with a bow in the back and it's perfect! You can also swap out the hat if you don't like the way it came out of the box. It's lightweight so it will be a fantastic summer hat. I was a little embarrassed at first, but got a lot of compliments. I bought it mainly for one time use but I will definitely wear it again. (I also bought the dress in the picture on Amazon. Love it too!)
