These speakers pack amazing spectral and dynamic sound into a relatively small volume. The picture is fine, the large convergence was not significant. I raised them about 10 inches off the ground on Chinese aquarium stands, with round tempered glass over the speaker stands. I isolated them with felt stickers. They deliver enough bass to be used on their own and sound great. with the TV during regular shows, movies and during some commercial and broadcast graphic intros/outputs. They can break through club music and symphonic classics. You can enjoy the music. High frequencies can be harsh at times, but that usually happens with older, lower-quality recordings. They need a break to reach their full potential. They will impress when used for quality recording. , and serve as an excellent background pair when watching HDTV. Overall strong in the bass extension and sufficient in the upper frequency range, but sensitive to the recording quality. 4.5 stars
