The leather is very soft, the color is as in the photo in the ad. It was the perfect size (see advert for dimensions) and is the first bag I've found with a phone pocket that fits my phone. With the shoulder strap you can adjust almost any length. The only thing I don't like about the strap is that it's quite narrow, making it difficult to hold it on my shoulder when I'm carrying the bag over my shoulder. I would love to wear it as a crossover. As mentioned, the small front flap doesn't have a latch, so I'm afraid to put my keys inside.
