Highly recommend for organizing a pantry!

Great containers! I have bought them in all sizes and they are always well packaged in the manufacturer's box. I use them to store cooking herbs, powders, salts, sugar, flour, rice, pasta, catnip, cat food, candy and anything else! They are transparent so you can see their content. However, I write the contents of each bin on blue masking tape with black permanent marker and tape it to the side of each bin. You can also get fancier black labels and a white label marker. Lids are easy to open and close. They appear to be sealed. They stack up well. They appear to be dishwasher safe, but I recommend hand washing them if needed. Cons: The lid has a hole in the middle of the bottom of the lid. If you tip or turn over a container of herb or containerized powder, the lid will fill with whatever is in the container. The lids are not easy to clean inside so I don't think they are sanitary containers after the product has gone in and you have washed them. Improvements: If these containers were made larger than the maximum size currently available, I would buy a few for bulk rice storage. I think a 20 pound container of rice would be ideal. These containers are shipped tightly wrapped in plastic, in a plastic bag, in a carton with cardboard dividers between the containers and paper liners in each container. Paper liners are good wood stove starters, but otherwise pointless. I really don't think the containers should be wrapped tightly in plastic and another loose plastic bag to prevent scratches as they are in a cardboard container. They are very well packaged but I think the box and dividers are sufficient for safe delivery. No need for plastic around containers and paper liners in containers.
