Really airtight

I bought a couple of other ink tanks to find out they aren't airtight as advertised. A batch of expensive tea was stale and spoiled due to the so-called hermetic containers. I've had them for about a week now and every time I open them they seem to stick a little - this is my guarantee that they are truly airtight. Everything was fresh and flavorful. I plan on buying more although I wish black kids were offered to others and they made a larger size for the flour and sugar. You can do it, I just

Good containers work best for food storage

These are very good containers. I was looking for something clear but strong and it fit the bill. As far as I can tell they are sealed. Food held up very well in it and I had no problems with moisture or insects. I really like that the large ones are actually big enough to hold a 5lb bag of flour. I also like that they don't have that weird plastic smell that some have, so the food doesn't smell. I only wish I could buy them individually so I only have the sizes I need. The only downside is…

Excellent modularity/good compaction/somewhat flimsy and poor stackability - 3 star thick/2 star thick.

This is reasonably acceptable. I like the clean modular design and their stackability, although I can't stack them. The upper lever, which is pressed to close the container, only enters the slot when e.g. It protrudes slightly and prevents two folded bins from being snug and placed between two shelves (my shelves are about 12" apart. The shelf spacing should be about 12.25-12.5" or the top arm should be flat lying. Just a little too high to be carried between shelves. The seal is good but…

So airtight that the lid does not come off easily.

So naturally sealed. The process seems pretty simple, press the lock and pull. But when I pulled, it was a definite struggle to open them. I had to pry it open hard and felt like it was about to break, I was pulling so hard! So I thought it wouldn't be good, the print must be crooked or messed up. NO. Highly recommend for organizing a pantry!

Great containers! I have bought them in all sizes and they are always well packaged in the manufacturer's box. I use them to store cooking herbs, powders, salts, sugar, flour, rice, pasta, catnip, cat food, candy and anything else! They are transparent so you can see their content. However, I write the contents of each bin on blue masking tape with black permanent marker and tape it to the side of each bin. You can also get fancier black labels and a white label marker.
