UPDATED I like the price very much and the quality is excellent. You can't go wrong with the backup plan I was offered. TO UPDATE. I've had these radios for over a year since my initial review and all the knobs have fallen off. That's not a bad thing, because carrying it and moving it around will make her change channels. The antennas broke very quickly, but in a small building they work even between the 1st and 2nd floors. Radios charge all but 1 so I use it to charge all the batteries. So I contacted the warranty plan I bought Square Trade from Alstate, sent the radios in for repair or replacement and was told the warranty didn't cover abuse. I use these radios on a school construction site. The seller says that these walkie-talkies are intended for communication on a construction site. So I can't fix or replace them now because I believe it's an electrical issue because most of them work fine with a charged battery. So for me I just throw them away, bite the bullet and spend my money on Motorola or Dewalt. They're twice the price, but buying cheap radios is useless if I have to change them every year or so.
