Review on Ultimate Vinyl Record Cleaning Kit: 5-in-1 Solution with Carbon Fiber Brush, Stylus Gel, Air Blower, Cloth & Liquid Cleaner by Larry Daniels

I recently found my old record collection while doing a much needed spring cleaning. After listening to the first records it was clear that I needed an anti-static cleaner to improve the sound quality and avoid annoying crackling. This record cleaning kit was a budget choice and really solved my problem. The anti-static cloth is the best tool of this kit as it appears to be made of a quality material. It is soft and leaves no marks on the vinyl. The record brush also lived up to expectations as it is quite soft and flexible and does its job perfectly. I have two issues with this set and these are the reasons I did not give this set five stars. Firstly, there are no instructions in the kit and they would be very helpful when using the stylus gel. You'll have to go back to the product description on Revain to get an idea of how to use this gel, but this is a vague idea at best. The second thing that worries me is the amount of alcohol free cleaner that comes with this kit. You get a one ounce bottle that just doesn't last long. It would be nice if they included a recipe to make more of this cleaner. It might just be water, but tell us what it is so we can keep using the kit! All in all, for less than $20, this kit will help keep your vintage vinyl clean.
