For our apartment we chose New York loft style, the red brick looks quite realistic and will not damage the wall in the room we rent. This cotton and embroidery wallpaper was pretty easy to paste. You definitely need two people, but it worked great with an X-acto knife and a rag. Our wall is textured, but that doesn't seem to affect its placement on the wall. There were a few spots where we cut out small pieces of wallpaper to match, but generally we only had to do this in a few spots. We used 3 rollers for this wall and it took about 4 hours. We plan to make another wall with it. We had a few small sections that we just filled in with bits of junk and you really can't tell we did it or the template isn't quite right. The paper seemed very thin when we received it, but it's really stiff and doesn't matter when it's peeled off. Overall it's easy to install and looks great on a budget and in a place where real brick isn't possible.
