I'm not sure what I think of this helmet. I don't know if that really works. Where I work every welder is provided with these helmets and backpack. When wearing, you can still smell stainless steel and monel when welding, and if you wear it for more than 8 hours, you still get black bugs when you blow your nose. Filters are also extremely expensive. At best, the battery lasts about 5 hours straight before you need to recharge it, which takes about an hour to fully charge. As soon as your battery dies and you start welding, your helmet will soon fog up so much that you can no longer see. It's nice that the helmet has a part that goes around the neck so no sanding dust can get on your back.
