I love Vans but the old school Vans have horrible insoles that my feet slip on if they get a little wet. I needed a Vans flat alternative with a zero drop, so I gave this a try. They seem cheaper than Vans but cost 1.5 times as much. The "elastic band" is very light but quite stiff. I find it funny that there isn't a width option, so I thought the width was medium (which is what I use). But the killshot is very narrow and causes cramps in the lateral leg muscles. The construction looks good enough to last a year at most. The only real leather seems to be the suede on the toe, heel and eyelets, and it's very thin. The outsole is pretty poor in wet conditions and slightly better than flip flops when it comes to traction, which is largely due to the material of the rubber rather than the design. It's a shame to have the Killshot name on it.
