IS WHAT IT SAYS IT IS

We use this in our RV to get on bunks and higher cabinets. Folds and un-folds very easy. Seems very sturdy. Not sure about 300 pounds, but easily handles adults and kids jumping up and down from bunks with no problem. Good value for the money here.

I bought this to use as a foot rest under my desk at work and it works great for that. Folds up a little bit on its own if you don''t keep constant pressure on the top. I tested standing and sitting on it also and it''s sturdy as long as you keep weight on the top
