Worked for 30 days then disconnected and not recognized

I used this for Mario Kart and played for an hour every day. The controllers stopped working after about 30 days and randomly turn off or don't recognize them unless the cable is moved to a specific location. The keys wear out quickly, they no longer spring and have to be pressed very hard to react.
