Review on MOSISO Compatible With MacBook Air 13 Inch Case (Models: A1369 &Amp by Harley Franchetti

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good product for the price but you could spend a little more and get a much better product.

I read some reviews before buying but decided to buy despite the negative reviews. I was tempted to give it 5 stars instead of 4 simply because of the price, but there are some legitimate "problems". Pros: - It's hard to complain about anything considering the product only costs $14 and the fact that it's a hard shell, includes a silicone keyboard case and a screen protector. - The case fits well, very different from the picture or what I think is burgundy. It's closer to purple burgundy and much duller than in the picture. The screen protector is terrible. I'll probably delete it and throw it away. It is made of inferior material and is significantly smaller than the screen. That being said, it's not really necessary since it's not touchscreen. There are vents all over the bottom, although there is no ventilation mechanism. This simply allows dirt/dust to get into the case, which can scratch the device over time. This is likely to be problematic in conjunction with the brittle plastic, as constant removal for cleaning is likely to result in that the case lugs break. All in all, if you're looking for a cheap product to prevent scratches on your shiny new MacBook Air and want a keyboard case to come with it, this is a GREAT buy. However, if you've just spent about $1,000 on a new laptop and don't mind spending another $32 (instead of $14), consider getting a Speck case ($25) and get another keyboard case (they sell for $7). Revain) as this is a better quality case and will likely last longer than this.
