Not perfect but works

For the price I'm generally happy with this bed bumper. It's thin, so if you have a colored pen box, the colors of the pen box will show through slightly. If it was in my budget I would buy a thicker and more expensive one. But it beautifully decorates the bed and hides items under the bed. It offers a light veil that hides the box spring. I have ivory color. I think white would be more transparent. It was easy to put on. I only needed a few minutes. It is tripartite; The edging that goes behind the edge of the bed is elastic only, no skirt. I didn't have to use buttons to fasten the skirt. It went by itself. There is a ruffle on the top that can be tucked under the mattress to adjust the length. I have a queen bed and a skirt for a king or queen bed. I washed it before putting it on the bed. Washed up well. Just remember to wash it on a gentle cycle and tumble dry low. Take it out of the dryer immediately to keep it from wrinkling. My bed has a headboard and a footboard, so technically I must have a slit corner skirt. Headboard rails are not a problem with this skirt as it only has an elastic part at the top. But for the floor with footrest rails, I had to shake the skirt over the rails. The rails raise the skirt a bit at the corners, but its length is still enough to hide it under the bed and box spring. Since this is a ruffled bed skirt, the ruffles in the corners somehow blend in with everything.
