I bought a pony size for my 12 hand pony otherwise worn by a pony. I was surprised how much I had to adapt to her since her head is not that big. It just fit her everywhere except the muzzle part itself was a bit small. I thought I'd try it, but after about a week I noticed it was rubbing her nose. I think that part of the snout is too small for her. So if you want to put this on a pony, I would definitely go bigger. I wanted something cheap and it worked, but now I have to buy the plunger and can't return it because it was used.
