The hat is great, easy to control and turn on and off. The battery pack and controls are hidden under the forehead part of the hat which does make it slightly uncomfortable to wear for long periods of time. There's also a high pitched sound that comes from the pack when the light is on which can get annoying but you can't hear it when there's a lot of noise around you. I like the different modes so you don't have to just have it on sound activated. This is actually the second hat I bought because my friend wanted one too after he saw I got one in Vegas and the light for this one is actually brighter. The hat is great for raves because it takes loud noise for the sound activated lights to work.
