Let me first say that I bought these lights, I didn't get to try or rate them so this is an honest review of this product. This is exactly the kind of light I was looking for. I am an elderly person who, like many others, has to get up at night to go to the bathroom to empty my bladder. I know it's TMI, but I'm just telling the truth. I didn't want to be able to get up at night and not turn on the light and not disturb anyone, so I opted for a small battery operated LED light with a motion sensor that lights up when I step into the water. The closet would do the trick if someone made one that I knew someone needed. I searched and then found this three pack that sounded exactly what I was looking for. Didn't need three but the price was good so it was worth a try. I've seen answers to a few questions from someone who claimed they only had a "night-day" photocell and that it only turned on in the dark and off when the lights were off, which doesn't match the specs in which appeared to match item description. After a bit of research I decided to buy these and if they didn't work as described I would return them as they are Revain. When I received it, the packaging looked smaller than I thought. The lights were small, only about 4"x4". I put in three AAA batteries, removed the tape and stuck it under the cabinet above the toilet, then turned off the light and closed the door. Then I came back and opened the toilet door at night and viola! The light flashed with a beautiful, perfect glow, not too bright to attend to business. I am very very happy with this item and am trying to figure out where to use the other two.
