We just got a new house with stairs and we have young children so we are concerned about their safety. In general I like these lights a lot (I have lights with a motion sensor). I set up all three; one in my hallway and two in two different closets. The hallway works well when it's dark and I walk through it, then turns off as soon as I exit the hallway. It's a set-and-forget situation for him. I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 because one of the night lights is on for more than 15 seconds. I tested it several times and got different readings from 30 to 16 seconds. It works if you don't mind leaving it on for 30 seconds. The other 2 work fine. I could send everything back to Revane and order again.
