It was a special sauce that knocked out my Fire Recast setup. I took a GE loft antenna and pointed it straight at the TV, the signal was good enough so I got a converted DVR but I got problems with weak signal on almost every channel. A lot of what I've read made it seem like the remake wouldn't work well with boosted antenna signals, but this amp had pretty good reviews, so I decided to roll the dice as soon as it became available (because it's not always available is). and it looks like it's worth the wait. I couldn't figure out exactly how to wire it based on the reviews, but it's really easy. I bought a 1 foot coax cable that fits between the antenna and the box, the box is attached to the antenna mast in the attic and then I have my 15 foot coax cable that should be redone. At the other end of the coaxial cable is a small wrench where the rework goes. The included power supply joins the chain here. There is no need to run electricity to the socket on the antenna in the attic. Just add my setup and stop getting constant weak signal notifications from the remake, win, win!
