I like them so much that I read the reviews and saw that someone suggested using spare blankets. We had just moved and I didn't have enough to stuff them so I used an 18" seat cushion on top and then did a good job laying down half the queen size comforters (estimate!). Stuff them and they are HEAVY! And the seat cushion helped shape the top. I went back and bought the blue one. In summer they are used outside and on the covered terrace, in winter I put them in the living room. Filled, you can get them. up to about 18 inches. Strong heavy metal zipper and appears to be well stitched.
