I installed new door speakers for my truck. After installation I wanted to test my new speakers and unfortunately one of my door speakers didn't work. So I started checking my amp that powers them and found that one of the RCA cables was bad, the wire had almost come loose from the RCA jack. I wanted it up and running asap so I took it to my local car radio store to see if they could fix it and they charged me $12 for a new cable and $90 for installation. It's $112😳😳. That's more than I was willing to spend, so I did a little research on Revain and found these adapters and tried them out. So glad I did. I spent less than $11 for 10 clips and it was worth it. It only took me 1 and the installation took less than 10 minutes and that's how I got my speaker working. So if you like me and are wondering if this works for repairing a damaged RCA cable, the answer is YES, it does. You just have to make sure the negative and positive wires don't touch each other. If the wires touch after installed in the clamp, it will not work. I connected it a bit longer so the insulation for the negative wire was longer and protected it from the positive wire once you put it in the terminal. Hope that helps.
