Review on ๐Ÿ“ Precise Measuring Made Easy with Park Tool Digital Caliper by Walter Velasquez

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Good product but overpriced.

This Park Tool caliper works great. I compare it with Mitutoyo 500-196-20 and both show the same values. It's not the same quality as Mitutoyo, but you pay less than half the price of Mitutoyo. What I did notice, however, is that this Park Tool caliper is the same as the Neiko 01407A 6 inch stainless steel digital caliper with a very large LCD screen and instant SAE metric conversion (same product, same plastic body and even the same packaging) and this one costs only $16.99 @ Revain. If you don't mind paying extra money for a "Park Tool" label (like I did), go for it. If you want to save some money, I think Neiko is a good choice. The 3 star rating is only for the overpriced price otherwise I would have rated it 4 stars. Now you can change the reading in three ways: mm with 2 decimals; inches with 4 decimal places; and a fractional inch in 1/128 format (not 1/16 as shown). You can reset to zero at each stop to read differences or negative values. It also comes with two batteries (the caliper only needs one battery, so you have an extra battery for future use). The caliper turns on automatically as soon as you use it (no need to press the power button).
