I thought I wanted studs with studs but after a day with them I realized I didn't want that. It just didn't feel right to me. I prefer them without spikes as they still stick out a bit. But they seem like a good set of budget cleats, I think I had to rotate them about 3 times before they stayed at 100 ft lbs.
