Review on 💡 Philips DE3175WLED Ultinon White LED Bulb (1 Pack, Large) by Jason Camarillo

Bought for a friend so he can turn off a low light bulb (no map light) in a 2019-2021 RAV4. The lantern cover can be removed with a very thin small flat head screwdriver. Be very careful not to break or scratch the clear plastic. When the light is on you can see some small protrusions towards the switch where you need to insert a screwdriver to loosen the protrusions. The replacement LED bulb is maybe 1/2mm longer, but since the bulb socket is made of bendable metal, it was able to fit. It can only work in one direction, both vertically and horizontally. So if it doesn't light up, reverse the bulb to check polarity and make sure the LED is facing down towards the passenger seats. If it doesn't, just flip the bulb over until you see real LEDs. It is definitely recommended to upgrade the cabin lighting when it fits. I took off a star because of the wrong fit.
