Okay, the mop should pick up a lot. and that would be nice. Not as much. This one is so long in length that it picks up too much water and if you try to "twist off" the excess water the length will fall out of the bucket to spin and splash water all over the floor. It's difficult to use without making a mess and splashing water all over the floor and nearby furniture. pain in the buttocks. I won't be buying it again and am considering trimming the mop head to reduce absorption and help squeeze out excess water with overspray. The only benefit of these mop heads is that they are cheaper and easy to wash in the laundry.
