I have used POLAR products in the past and was mostly satisfied, so I bought the H10 heart rate sensor in June 2018 without hesitation. It worked fine at first, but after a week or two I noticed it wasn't sending a signal. I checked the battery and found that the battery is fine. I also found that the battery check got the H10 working again! (Okay great). Over the next few weeks I had to repeat this exercise (remove battery, replace battery) from time to time to get a signal from the H10. This problem kept getting worse, like some sort of degenerative disease, until it became a habit, and sometimes even in the middle of my workout. It was also getting harder and harder to revive the H10 with all the different tricks I had come up with. Unfortunately I am now firing my 6 month old H10 (December 2018). During this adventure I bought lots of CR2025 batteries and a new battery tester (very nice to have!). I've spent too much time going through this unit and have concluded that the battery is somehow making poor contact with the battery terminals. This can be due to poor design and/or manufacturing of the plastic case and battery cover/holder. I advise you to find another product. It was a very disappointing experience. ARG!
