They are softer than Apple straps and the buckle doesn't bother at all. The only problem is that unlike Apple's straps, darker colors pick up tiny particles of lint and dust very easily, and lighter colors do the same to a lesser extent. .If you leave these straps on the table overnight or floating in a bag like I usually do, they are likely to get dusty, again this doesn't happen with Apple strap but that's because they're obviously made of different materials are. Honestly it doesn't matter, I just run it under water and then it's ok, a swipe will probably work too. Or if it's a light color I just don't mind, great stripes overall!
