They are really bright and the light is white, not "soft white code for yellow". Now there is more light than with 6 60W incandescent lamps. This brand is the only one that says it replaces a 100 watt light bulb, so pay attention. We have a large 2 car carport. It has six lights in total. On entering there is an area on the left for garden tools, chainsaws, building materials etc. Then 2 cars on the right. We used to flip the switch and all six lights were on, but now they only light up when you go where you go. The benefit is that you no longer have to go upstairs to go to bed, look out the window and see how the garage light is on.
