The Verge's review is accurate: good price

I also bought it after reading a review on The Verge's tech site. I have two headphones that came with my Samsung Galaxy S3 and Galaxy S6 (I know the older models). While they don't sound as good as the Samsung headphones (the sound isn't as rich), they sound great for the price, and the value of these headphones is central to The Verge's review. They're about half the price of the 3.5mm headphones on Samsung's website (model EO-EG920LBEGUS), which I assume are upgraded versions of the S3 and S6 headphones. The TCL headphones are extremely light and very comfortable, but I think that comes at the cost of richness or depth of sound. However, this is only noticeable in comparison to my other headphones. In addition, TCL headphones have only one button that pauses/plays music or answers/ends a call. There are no volume and track skip buttons. If I were to buy another pair of wired headphones, I'd probably buy something with extra buttons. The TCL headphones also come without a case.

Pros
  • brilliantly made
Cons
  • faded
