It uses 6 pin headers with Coolmoon controller. I love the controller and I love the gem-looking RGB strips, but the fans themselves leave a bit to be desired. You can already see that they are cheaply made. Not very durable and even a bit noisy at low revs. They look good when on but not as bright as others I've seen. I think the fan design needs to be a bit bigger, but the light bars are awesome. They have a magnetic base so you can place them anywhere, but you might have some trouble putting them in a mATX or smaller case if you intend to place them left and right. Top and bottom placement wouldn't be too bad, although I would suggest some hot glue if mounting from the top just for more stability.
