When I bought this reader I was thrilled that I could finally transfer files quickly at USB 3.0 speeds and also check files on my phone with USB -C- Connection. When I tried to connect it to my computer it made a connection sound but it didn't show up on my devices. I repeatedly tried to connect it and eventually after trying many different USB ports it made a connecting noise twice and appeared. I was able to transfer files and read files, but after unplugging it and trying to plug it back in, it didn't show up. Basically it means I just have to try connecting and reconnecting until it finally shows up on my computer. I tried to find drivers online for this device but there were none on the website. Update 29th August 2021 I'm updating my rating to one star since this happened. After trying to recognize the device from my computer, the file system got corrupted and my computer said I couldn't access any of my files without formatting the drive. I found a few programs that could restore missing files and luckily I was able to restore them, but it goes without saying that I will no longer be using this reader due to the possibility of my file system on my cards becoming corrupted and hours lost. captured material.
