I bought this red jacket in sizes XS and XXS because I heard it was too big. This is definitely true. I'm about 5ft 3in, about 123lbs and a size XS is a bit big on my shoulders and torso. I ended up sticking with size XXS because it was a tight fit. The sleeves of both jackets were too long. for my petite figure but there are velcro straps so you can pull up the sleeves along the hem. Anyway, at first I didn't know if this jacket was too heavy for what I was looking for. I just went to Iceland. and I needed something waterproof (not waterproof), lightly insulated and thigh-length to protect me from heavy rain and wind (temperatures of only 30-40 degrees were expected). There is too much space in our luggage so I considered sending it back. In the end I kept it to myself because I couldn't find anything I liked better that met all my needs. was absolutely SAVING and PERFECT for my trip to Iceland. I can't stress this enough. I think it would be too cold in a weight jacket. This jacket protected me on days when we had rain and ridiculous gusts of wind. The length is perfect and in combination with waterproof pants I never got wet in the rain. My body never got really cold in this jacket; The thin gloves only got cold hands a few times. Also, this jacket has many pockets so I could easily keep my phone in the zipped pocket when I was out and about. The only criticism is that the hood is a bit too big and sometimes it was a hassle to zip the jacket up. The bottom part of the zipper always took a few tries and effort to get the two sides together. However, I think this jacket was exactly what I needed and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a waterproof jacket to keep the cold and wind out.
