I've been using the cable for a while and when I tried to remove it it got stuck. I applied some force and the connector fell apart leaving the metal housing of the connector inside my device. It was so tight (too tight) that I had to use pliers to pry it out of my device (an expensive MIDI keyboard). So yes, I cannot recommend this cable.
