This is a very quiet 12V DC fan with built-in lithium-ion battery - no connectors. Works great in a car or van. Unlike other DC fans which are very noisy, this fan lets you sleep. Build quality is good and solid - looks great. The clamp is strong and strong. It doesn't fluctuate, but it has a natural mode in which it changes fan speed, which is very cool. The battery life is 8 hours at high speed. I would give 5 stars but it has no light, no motion sensor and doesn't wobble. If these things don't bother you then this is a great 5 star fan - it's sooooo quiet.
