Yes, the headband is big enough to fit around my head. That's the only thing the hat gets right and the only reason I even give it two stars. 99% of hats don't fit my bowler hat, at least not this one. Like most hats that aren't designed for very large heads, it looks stretched when you put it on your head. It's really like they took the crown off the little hat and sewed it onto this big headband to bypass the big bowlers. Who knew this would work and look good?!?! To accommodate the larger strip you will need more fabric on the head for the rest of the larger skull. It should be a simple concept. They didn't, so it looks awful when stretched and deformed upside down.
