Review on 🔌 TOPGREENER Tamper Resistant Electrical Receptacles - TU2153A (2PCS) by Dan West

This outlet works as advertised to charge USB devices while accessing standard wall outlets. I have installed several of these outlets throughout the house and the Top Greener brand is usually a step below the Leviton brand. They are satisfactory but not perfect as they don't seem to stand up to regular use. The plastic is quite soft and tends to gall when plugged in and unplugged, which I've never seen with other sockets or brands. It's relatively minor and only noticeable on close inspection, but it's still a point for negative feedback. Also, for some reason, regular plugs can be difficult to plug in, even if the plug slides smoothly into another outlet. I only have this problem with Top Greenier jacks, not Leviton. They are easy to install if you have a large box. These outlets are deeper than standard outlets and don't have much room for extra cords. They would be difficult or impossible to install in an old house with small outlets.
