I've always read and discussed one of these. After many reviews of some Engadget and Gizmodo articles, I finally pulled the trigger. WE LOVE HER. They give off the right amount of light. We can turn off all other lights in the living room, which is great. Adds a nice glow around the TV. It helps with nighttime TV. In darker scenes, the picture seems to brighten up a bit. My wife used to hate watching movies without lights. It was too dark and blinding. Now she says turn on the blue light and I'll turn off the lamp. Has many colors you can use. I personally just leave the blue and white setting. The small remote works well. I just think it's so cool. I'm very interested in expensive kits that change color depending on the content on the TV. These kits cost $200-$300 or more.
