Lots of space for a very large cat.
I have a very large Maine Coon (17lbs) and she just doesn't fit in standard carriers. Sure it's a bit bulky and more difficult to carry around with a heavy animal, but my cat is much more comfortable with plenty of room to sit and turn around. In addition, thanks to the large zip openings at the top and sides, it is much easier to remove it at the veterinary office, from where you are very reluctant to go to the examination. She also likes to use it as a bed at home.
