My husband bought a classic NES and was struggling to find a second remote for us. This one is great for the classic NES (mini).

I got this because I couldn't find the right Sega style controller to work with Wiibrew. I am using it now and am very happy with how it works. I played enough Sonic on this one yesterday.

I've used this on both NES Classic Mini and SNES Classic Mini. Works perfectly. The home button works! That's why I bought this so very happy. Buttons respond as they should. I recommend using a controller extension for this one con as it is very short. But I have already bought 2 for use with other controllers.

don't repeat my mistake! I needed these controllers but tried to get a fake first to save money. BAD DECISION. I got what I paid for. These were slow responding controllers with buttons that stuck and a joystick didn't even work, right out of the box! Then I gave up and started looking for a real Wii brand. Classic controller works as expected. There's really nothing special about what's normal, as no extra bells and whistles are required, it's just a controller. One thing I'm still getting used to is that the cable comes out of the "bottom" of the controller instead of the top like I'm used to with other console controllers. You can play these games with the Game Cube controller, but it's very difficult since it's for the Game Cube and not the SNES. As for the NES, they might make the game available with the Wii Remote. One of the main reasons for buying a Wii console was the ability to play Virtual Console games from bygone eras. I still have the original NES and many of my favorite games, but it rarely works properly, doesn't look very good etc etc. I find it awkward to use.
