Great product when it works

As other reviewers have pointed out, the flex hose is neither stiff nor heavy enough to be submerged in water and 90% of the time the hose just floats to the surface, never soak up water. I was able to fix this by tying the 304 stainless steel eye ring from the anchor bolt to the hose with a zip tie to ensure both flushed out properly and it now sinks properly to the bottom of the water jug. . If you don't want to buy a pipe anchor, avoid this product. Otherwise it works as expected.
